Golden Hour Engagement Session near Holland, Michigan

I’ve been hearing a lot of photographers saying that golden hour is going out of style, and I’m going to level with you…I think that is a MAJOR lie. There’s something so romantic and dreamy about a true golden hour. The photos are timeless, colorful, and cozy and I can’t see those feelings leaving the hearts of creatives any time soon. 

Sydney and Kurt let me run around Holland, Michigan with them as we chased that sweet spot of golden sun right before it dipped below the horizon of Lake Michigan. These two love birds were so fun and playful, it was impossible to get a bad shot of them. And who doesn’t love a champagne pop!?
