Summer Chic Grand Rapids, Michigan Wedding
Danielle and Rob’s wedding day in Grand Rapids, Michigan was nothing short of a party. It was so evident that they are a family and friend focused couple. Danielle shared with me during our engagement session that one of the reasons she was so excited for the wedding day was because it was likely that their wedding was going to be the one and only day where that exact group of people, consisting of everyone they love so dearly, would be in the same room at the same time. The whole day had such a beautiful emphasis on love, family, and commitment which became extra evident when Danielle kept the tradition alive of doing a first look with her whole family *cue tears*.
The bride and groom tied the knot at a stunning church in Rockford, Michigan and then danced the night away at their reception venue, New Vintage Place, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. However, those weren’t the only two amazing spaces that hosted their day. Danielle and her girls got ready at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids in a room that had floor to cieling windows, large spaces for first looks, and incredible views of the city below. Having a great open space for all the special getting ready moments is so important for a stress free wedding day.
It was important to the bride and groom that they got to enjoy their cocktail hour, especially because their venue went above and beyond creating such a special physcial space and atmosphere for all of their guests. There was a loft full of yard games like giant Jenga, cornhole, and Connect Four accompanied by a full bar and massive charcuterie board. There wasn’t a single detail left unthought of. So much so, I think that these two should become professional wedding planners!
